Join NimbusCloud Technologies, a leading provider of scalable cloud solutions for enterprise customers. We’re seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize hybrid cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. This role focuses on reliability, security, and performance in fast-paced environments.
As part of our Cloud Platform team, you will partner with SRE, DevOps, and Software Engineering to deliver fault-tolerant systems, automated deployments, and cost-aware infrastructure. You will have opportunities to influence product direction and adopt modern cloud-native patterns.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP with IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi).
- Lead migration of applications to cloud platforms with minimal downtime and risk.
- Define security, compliance, and cost optimization strategies; implement monitoring and alerting.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to accelerate delivery.
- Collaborate with SRE and application teams to improve reliability and performance.
- Establish and enforce best practices for incident management, disaster recovery, and change management.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with cloud services and industry trends to drive innovation.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or DevOps roles.
- Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP; experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) and incident management.
- Security and compliance knowledge (IAM, encryption, networking, VPCs, SOC2/ISO 27001 awareness).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to influence across teams.
