Overview:
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and related tooling.
- Implement and maintain security controls, IAM, network segmentation, and compliance measures.
- Lead observability initiatives with centralized logging, metrics, tracing, and incident response practices.
- Migrate and modernize legacy workloads to cloud-native platforms and microservices.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust cloud solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best-practices, standards, and documentation.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering or platform engineering experience.
- Deep expertise with at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, service meshes is a plus.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar) and automation tooling.
- Solid scripting skills (Python, Go, or Bash) and Linux administration.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to influence stakeholders and lead initiatives.
- Knowledge of security, compliance, cost management, and networking fundamentals in cloud environments.
