Job description
Join NebulaCloud Technologies, a leading provider of scalable cloud solutions, to design, implement, and optimize modern cloud platforms for our global customers. This role blends hands-on engineering with architectural leadership, helping our teams accelerate delivery while maintaining reliability and security.
As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will own the end-to-end cloud stack—from compute and networking to storage, security, and IaC automation. You will collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and application teams to drive best practices, optimize cost, and enforce governance across multi-cloud environments.
We value pragmatic problem-solvers who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about building highly available, scalable, and secure cloud services.
Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and iteration of multi-cloud platform architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and security.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation pipelines to enable repeatable, auditable deployments.
- Build and operate containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and related tooling; optimize cluster performance and cost.
- Define and enforce cloud governance, security controls, identity management, and access policies across environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, and release strategies.
- Establish and monitor SRE KPIs, runbooks, incident response plans, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of code quality, automation, and proactive problem-solving.
- Continuously assess emerging cloud services and patterns to drive modernization and cost efficiency.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering or cloud architecture experience across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Deep expertise in IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).
- Strong containerization and orchestration experience with Kubernetes; familiarity with service meshes and networking concepts.
- Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar) and automation of build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with security, identity, and access management; knowledge of cloud-native security controls and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; proven ability to lead initiatives and work with cross-functional teams.
