Responsibility
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS (and other clouds) using IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and secure deployments across environments.
- Collaborate with software teams to optimize cloud architectures for performance, security, and cost.
- Instrument robust monitoring, logging, and incident response using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized dashboards.
- Manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker; maintain Helm charts and deployment strategies.
- Implement identity, access management, encryption, and secret management to meet security and compliance requirements.
- Lead cost optimization efforts, tagging strategies, and capacity planning to maximize ROI.
Qualification
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with AWS or a multi-cloud environment.
- 3+ years of Kubernetes experience and container orchestration.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Proficient with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Solid Linux/Unix fundamentals and networking knowledge; security best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent) are a plus.
