Responsibility
- Design and operate scalable cloud platforms on AWS in collaboration with security and DevOps teams.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and cost across multi account environments.
- Lead incident response and post mortems, implementing robust runbooks.
- Mentor engineers, define best practices, and drive platform governance.
- Collaborate with software engineers to enable self service automation and developer experience.
- Implement observability with logging, tracing, metrics, and SLOs.
- Evaluate and adopt new cloud services to accelerate delivery while maintaining security and compliance.
Qualification
- 5+ years of hands on experience in cloud engineering or platform engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS or Azure, including IAM, networking, and compute services.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python or Bash.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads in production.
- Solid understanding of security, compliance, and data protection in cloud environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
