Join NovaTech Solutions as a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer based in San Francisco. You will design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure that powers mission-critical applications for Fortune 500 clients. You will partner with software engineers, security, and product teams to drive performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities span across engineering, operations, and governance to ensure our platforms remain scalable, secure, and observable. You will work with multi-cloud environments, implement infrastructure as code, and lead strategic initiatives that improve speed to market while reducing risk.
Responsibility
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures across AWS, GCP, and Azure to support product workloads and customer requirements.
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment tooling to accelerate delivery.
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible or similar tools.
- Ensure system reliability through SLOs/SLIs, proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident response planning.
- Collaborate with software engineers to optimize performance, security, and cost-efficiency of cloud-native applications.
- Lead security and compliance initiatives, including identity and access management, network segmentation, and audit readiness.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive automation of repeatable operational tasks and contribute to platform roadmaps and capacity planning.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 5+ years of cloud engineering experience.
- Deep hands-on experience with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and multi-cloud architectures.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
- Strong knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern DevOps practices.
- Extensive experience with monitoring, observability, and incident management (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog).
- Solid scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar); experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to influence across teams and stakeholders.
- Security-minded with a track record of delivering compliant and resilient cloud solutions.
