Job description
NovaTech Solutions is looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud platforms that power our enterprise applications. You will own cloud architectures, automation pipelines, and reliability initiatives across AWS and multi-cloud environments. This role emphasizes security, performance, and thoughtful cost management, with a strong focus on developer enablement.

Responsibility
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS with IaC and automation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Develop infrastructure as code to enable reliable deployments and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with software teams to optimize cloud architectures, performance, cost, and security.
- Lead incident response, monitoring, and observability initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and promote best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements across environments.
Qualification
- 5+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or SRE with a proven production track record.
- Strong AWS experience (IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC) and knowledge of security best practices.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, containers, and orchestration concepts.
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash) and solid Linux fundamentals.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring (Grafana/Prometheus, CloudWatch).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
