As a key member of our Security Engineering team, you will design, implement, and refine security controls across cloud and on-prem environments, ensure compliance, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibility
- Lead design and implementation of security controls across cloud and on-prem environments, including IAM, network segmentation, and data protection.
- Develop and maintain threat models, risk assessments, and secure-by-design patterns for new products.
- Lead incident response efforts, perform post-incident reviews, and drive continuous improvement.
- Execute security assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Monitor and respond to security alerts using SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence feeds, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers, evangelize security best practices, and contribute to security policy development.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container security
- Experience with SAST/DAST, IAM, SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) and automation
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR) and risk-based security practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor and collaborate across teams
