As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will translate business goals into robust security controls across cloud, network, and application layers, while mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and implementation of security controls across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments, including IAM, network segmentation, and encryption.
- Develop and enforce secure software development lifecycle practices, including threat modeling and code reviews.
- Lead incident response initiatives, conduct post-incident analysis, and drive remediation efforts.
- Manage and tune SIEM/SOAR platforms, detect and investigate anomalies, and produce actionable incident reports.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed security into DevOps pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Perform vulnerability management, risk assessments, and remediation coordination with stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior security engineers and participate in security training programs.
- Continuously monitor and improve security policies, procedures, and governance in line with compliance requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP), IAM, SSO, and zero-trust architectures.
- Proficiency with SIEM (e.g., Splunk, Elastic), SOAR, EDR tools, and network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Experience with secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GNFA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple, competing priorities.
