Responsibility

  • Architect and implement security controls across cloud and on premise environments to reduce risk and improve resilience.
  • Lead and coordinate incident response investigations, post incident reviews, and remediation actions.
  • Develop and maintain security architecture, policies, standards, and runbooks aligned with business goals.
  • Perform threat modeling, vulnerability management, and risk assessments for new initiatives.
  • Design and optimize detection capabilities using SIEM and EDR platforms; monitor alerts and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, and product teams to embed secure SDLC practices.
  • Evaluate third party risk and conduct security assessments of vendors and integrations.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
  • 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands on experience in incident response, threat hunting, and security operations.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure network design.
  • Hands on experience with SIEM (eg Splunk, QRadar) and EDR (eg CrowdStrike, SentinelOne); cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or PowerShell.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and ability to communicate complex risks to non technical stakeholders.
