Responsibility
- Architect and implement security controls across cloud and on premise environments to reduce risk and improve resilience.
- Lead and coordinate incident response investigations, post incident reviews, and remediation actions.
- Develop and maintain security architecture, policies, standards, and runbooks aligned with business goals.
- Perform threat modeling, vulnerability management, and risk assessments for new initiatives.
- Design and optimize detection capabilities using SIEM and EDR platforms; monitor alerts and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, and product teams to embed secure SDLC practices.
- Evaluate third party risk and conduct security assessments of vendors and integrations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands on experience in incident response, threat hunting, and security operations.
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure network design.
- Hands on experience with SIEM (eg Splunk, QRadar) and EDR (eg CrowdStrike, SentinelOne); cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or PowerShell.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and ability to communicate complex risks to non technical stakeholders.
