Join NexaGuard Technologies, a premier cybersecurity innovator, to defend enterprise environments against evolving threats. We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and optimize security controls across cloud, on premise, and hybrid environments.
In this role you will collaborate with product and platform teams to drive secure by default architectures, threat modeling, and robust incident response playbooks.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud and hybrid security controls across multiple environments.
- Architect and tune threat detection, incident response, and recovery plans with measurable SLAs.
- Partner with DevOps and software teams to integrate secure development and deployment practices.
- Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and security testing for new features and platforms.
- Develop and maintain automation for security tooling including SIEM, SOAR, and endpoint defenses.
- Monitor security metrics, provide executive level reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security training, audits, and compliance efforts.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering, with hands on cloud security experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of IAM, network security, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Hands on experience with SIEM (Splunk or Elastic), SOAR, EDR, and security automation tools.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash); familiarity with CI/CD tooling.
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and cross functional collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
