Join PulseShield Technologies, a leading cybersecurity innovator protecting global enterprises. We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve our security program across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
You will collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to embed security into the SDLC and drive risk-based security decisions that protect customer trust.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and implementation of secure architectures and controls across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem environments.
- Develop and drive incident response, forensics, threat hunting, and continuous monitoring capabilities.
- Manage vulnerability management lifecycle, risk assessments, remediation tracking, and metrics reporting.
- Implement and tune SIEM detections, monitoring, and alerting; partner with SOC for rapid containment.
- Drive identity and access management (IAM) programs and Zero Trust initiatives across domains and services.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to bake security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Assess third-party vendors and supply chain risk; perform security reviews and due diligence.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on security engineering, engineering leadership, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security architecture and best practices across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Proven experience with SIEM (Splunk, Elastic), EDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence tooling.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, zero-trust concepts, and risk-based security decision making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to influence across cross-functional teams.
