Join NexaGuard Technologies as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer and help design, implement, and defend secure systems for industry-leading clients. You will work cross-functionally to reduce risk, accelerate incident response, and build scalable security controls.
As part of our Advanced Defense team, you will leverage threat intelligence, secure software development practices, and cloud security fundamentals to protect critical data and operations.

Responsibility
- Design and implement security controls across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Lead incident response efforts, perform root cause analysis, and drive remediation plans.
- Develop and maintain SIEM rules, detections, and dashboards; monitor for anomalous activity.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and drive remediation with stakeholders.
- Establish IAM, encryption, key management, and access controls aligned with best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security outreach and training.
- Contribute to threat intelligence programs and security policy governance.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering or security operations experience.
- Strong experience with SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, or similar) and EDR tools.
- Proficient in network and application security, vulnerability management, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and IAM roles/policies.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and automation experience (SOAR, Playbooks).
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
