Responsibility
- Design and implement scalable security controls across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
- Lead and coordinate incident response, forensics, and post-incident reviews.
- Develop threat models and security architectures aligned with business goals.
- Manage vulnerability assessments, remediation tracking, and risk-based prioritization.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps to embed secure-by-design practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security awareness programs.
- Evaluate and deploy security tooling, SIEM, EDR, XDR, and cloud security services.
- Drive security testing including penetration testing and red team coordination.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, threat modeling, and incident response lifecycle.
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or similar) and EDR/XDR solutions.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and zero-trust architectures.
- Programming/scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and tooling.
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, or similar) are highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across teams.
