Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive security architecture reviews and threat modeling for new initiatives.
- Design and implement scalable security controls across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem environments.
- Lead incident response, root cause analyses, and post-incident improvements.
- Develop and maintain incident playbooks, runbooks, and detection rules in SIEM/EDR tools.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Mandate vulnerability management, risk assessments, and remediation tracking with stakeholders.
- Produce security metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reporting to demonstrate risk posture and progress.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity and security engineering.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of network security, IAM, endpoint protection, SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP; infrastructure as code is a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and secure coding practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
- Experience with security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI) is a plus.
