Responsibility
- Design and implement scalable security controls across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Lead threat modeling, vulnerability management, and risk assessments.
- Own and improve incident response processes; coordinate with IR teams during incidents.
- Develop and maintain security automation using SIEM, EDR, and SOAR tools.
- Partner with engineering to ensure secure SDLC and code review practices.
- Perform security leadership in security reviews, audits, and compliance efforts.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote security awareness across the organization.
Qualification
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or equivalent, with cloud security focus.
- Strong experience with SOC/Blue Team operations, threat hunting, incident response.
- Hands-on proficiency with SIEM (Splunk, QRadar), EDR (CrowdStrike), and SOAR platforms.
- Deep knowledge of network security, IAM, vulnerability management, and secure software development lifecycle.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
- Programming/scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate security risks for non-technical stakeholders.
