We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive end-to-end ML initiatives, from problem framing to production deployment. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to build scalable models, deliver actionable insights, and influence product strategy in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will own modeling projects that impact customer acquisition, retention, pricing, and operational efficiency. You will prototype, validate, and operationalize models, ensuring robust evaluation, reliability, and ethical AI practices.
What you’ll bring:
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, with 5+ years of hands-on data science experience
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; strong experience with ML libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM) and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Strong statistical foundations and experience with experimentation, causal inference, and A/B testing
- Experience deploying models to production using ML pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills to translate complex findings into actionable business decisions
- Collaborative mindset with product, data engineering, and business stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor junior team members
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem framing to deployment and monitoring
- Develop, evaluate, and optimize predictive models that inform product and growth strategies
- Design robust experiments and interpret results to guide business decisions
- Collaborate with data engineers to build scalable data pipelines and feature stores
- Communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear visuals and narratives
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to a data-driven culture
- Ensure model governance, fairness, and ethical considerations in all efforts
Qualification
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on data science experience in industry or research
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with ML libraries and deep learning frameworks
- Strong statistical and experimental design skills
- Experience deploying models in production environments and managing ML pipelines
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management
- Track record of delivering impact through data-driven decisions
