NovaMetrics AI is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our fast-growing team in San Francisco. You will design and deploy scalable predictive models, translate complex data into actionable insights, and collaborate with product and engineering to drive business impact.

\nAs part of a cross-functional data science team, you will:
Responsibility

- Build and deploy production-grade machine learning models to solve critical business problems. \n
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem framing to solution deployment. \n
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data infrastructure teams to integrate models into platforms. \n
- Develop robust evaluation frameworks, monitor model performance, and implement MLOps practices. \n
- Communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders through data storytelling. \n
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to a data-driven culture. \n
- Influence product roadmap with data-driven insights and experimentation. \n
Qualification
- \n
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; 5+ years of hands-on data science experience. \n
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; practical experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). \n
- Proficiency deploying ML models in production; familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tooling. \n
- Expertise in feature engineering, modeling, experimentation, and evaluating business impact. \n
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ability to translate data into actionable strategy. \n
- Experience with data visualization and storytelling; publications or open-source contributions are a plus. \n
