NovaVista Analytics is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our AI & ML Platform team in San Francisco. You will build and scale ML models that power decision-making across product, sales, and operations. You will collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and software engineers to deploy end-to-end data science solutions in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end machine learning models and pipelines for business-critical use cases.
- Collaborate with product and software teams to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
- Experiment with feature engineering, model selection, and hyperparameter tuning to maximize performance and reliability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and retrain models to maintain performance in production.
- Develop robust documentation, testing, and deployment processes (CI/CD for ML).
- Communicate insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through clear storytelling and dashboards.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to a collaborative data science culture.
Qualification
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on data science experience with end-to-end ML product development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Spark or similar big data frameworks.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and model deployment in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proven ability to translate business questions into statistical experiments and actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with MLOps concepts, experimentation platforms, and monitoring tools.
