We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own end-to-end data science initiatives, from problem framing and feature engineering to model deployment and ongoing monitoring. This role combines hands-on modeling with collaboration across product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact, data-driven solutions.
Responsibility
- Lead design, development, and deployment of scalable ML models and AI solutions in production environments.
- Collaborate with product, data engineering, and business teams to translate needs into data-driven strategies.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and rigorous model evaluation.
- Establish robust experiments, tracking, and governance to ensure reproducibility and transparency.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, feature stores, and MLOps workflows for reliable deployment.
- Mentor junior data scientists, sharing best practices and code reviews.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations with clear data storytelling to stakeholders.
Qualification
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on data science experience with Python (NumPy, Pandas) and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Deep understanding of ML methods (supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, time-series) and model evaluation.
- Experience deploying models to production and managing ML workflows in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong SQL skills and data modeling experience; familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Proven ability to communicate complex results to non-technical audiences and influence product decisions.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving and multi-project management skills.
- Experience with monitoring, model governance, fairness checks, and responsible AI practices is a plus.
