Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end ML projects from problem statement to deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex problems into data-driven solutions.
- Design and implement scalable machine learning models (predictive, NLP, or computer vision) and validate their performance.
- Engineer data pipelines, feature stores, and reproducible ML workflows using Python, Spark, and cloud services.
- Perform rigorous model evaluation and hypothesis testing; communicate results to non-technical stakeholders.
- Monitor deployed models, establish alerting, drift detection, and performance tuning.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best-practice development within the data science team.
Qualification
- Master's or PhD in computer science, statistics, data science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on data science experience with a track record of delivering impact.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn), SQL, and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and ML ops tooling (Docker, MLflow, Kubeflow).
- Strong understanding of statistics, experimentation design, and evaluation metrics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
