Join NexaData Intelligence, a leading data science firm redefining how businesses translate data into strategic decisions. We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own end-to-end ML projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will build and deploy models that power product, marketing, and operational decisions. You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to translate complex problems into actionable solutions.
What you bring:
- Strong expertise in machine learning, statistics, and causal inference
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Spark or similar big data tools
- Experience deploying models to production using MLOps practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data findings into business impact
- 2+ years of leadership or mentoring experience
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem framing to deployment in production environments
- Design and implement scalable machine learning models for product, marketing, and operations
- Collaborate with data engineers to build robust data pipelines and feature stores
- Assess model performance, conduct rigorous validation, and monitor drift post-deployment
- Translate complex analytical insights into clear business recommendations for stakeholders
- Mentor junior scientists and help scale the data science practice
- Advocate for ethical AI, fairness, and governance in modeling
Qualification
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in data science, statistics, computer science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on data science experience with strong ML background
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with distributed computing (Spark, Hadoop)
- Experience deploying models to production and building end-to-end ML pipelines
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence product strategy
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and MLOps tools
- Familiarity with data visualization and storytelling
