As a senior contributor, you will shape modeling strategy, oversee research-to-production workflows, and mentor teammates to raise the data science bar across the organization.
Responsibility
- Develop and operationalize end-to-end machine learning models from prototype to production, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with product, data engineering, and software teams to translate business problems into data science solutions.
- Design experiments, evaluate model performance, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Deploy models using modern ML pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) with proper monitoring and governance.
- Mentor junior data scientists and promote best practices in code quality, reproducibility, and documentation.
- Stay current with the latest ML research and apply relevant techniques to real-world datasets.
Qualification
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; 3+ years practical data science experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python; proficient with libraries such as NumPy, pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Solid SQL skills and experience with data visualization tools (Matplotlib/Seaborn, Tableau, Looker).
- Experience building and deploying ML models in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proven ability to translate business problems into measurable data science solutions and communicate results clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with experimentation design, feature engineering, and model evaluation metrics.
- Optional: Experience with NLP, time-series, or recommendation systems.
