Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of secure FinTech software with PCI DSS compliance in mind.
- Mentor and coach a cross-functional engineering team, including developers, QA, and security engineers.
- Collaborate with product, risk, and compliance stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Establish and enforce secure SDLC, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation processes.
- Drive code quality, performance optimization, and architectural governance across services and microservices.
- Own technical backlog, project milestones, and delivery timelines while balancing security and business needs.
- Promote DevOps and DevSecOps practices, automated testing, and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Represent engineering in leadership discussions and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership or senior engineering role.
- Proven experience in FinTech, payments, PCI DSS, data security, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong hands-on experience with modern tech stacks (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Python) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Demonstrated ability to lead system design for scalable, high-availability applications (microservices, APIs, databases).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.
- Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle, threat modeling, and security testing methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and incident response.
