Job description
We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing product engineering team in Singapore. You’ll own cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and reliability initiatives that enable rapid delivery and secure, scalable services.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with software engineers, SREs, and security teams to design, automate, and optimize the end-to-end CI/CD lifecycle and cloud operations. You will influence architecture decisions and drive best practices that reduce toil and improve deployment velocity.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments (Build, Test, Deploy).
- Plan and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and Azure with a focus on reliability, security, and cost optimization.
- Instrument monitoring, alerting, and incident response using Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging.
- Automate infrastructure with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet).
- Collaborate with software engineers to improve deployment strategies, blue/green deployments, and canary releases.
- Enforce security controls, secrets management, and access governance across platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture, best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Lead capacity planning and performance optimization initiatives to support growth.
Qualification
- 5+ years of DevOps experience in cloud-native environments and scalable systems.
- Deep knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure and multi-cloud architectures.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Proficiency with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and config management (Ansible, Chef).
- Expertise in CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
