Job description
Join NexaCloud Solutions as a Senior DevOps Engineer and help build and operate the next generation of scalable, secure cloud platforms. You’ll collaborate with software engineers and SREs to design resilient systems, automate cloud infrastructure, and continuously improve performance and reliability.
We value pragmatic problem-solving, strong ownership, and a bias for action. This role offers a clear path to leadership, competitive compensation, and unique opportunities to shape a rapidly growing product portfolio.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI) to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality gates.
- Collaborate with software and platform teams to optimize cloud infrastructure for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Champion infrastructure as code (Terraform and CloudFormation) to provision and manage multi-account environments.
- Manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker; implement robust monitoring, tracing, and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
- Automate security controls, enforce IAM policies, and integrate SAST/DAST tooling into pipelines.
- Lead incident response, perform blameless postmortems, and drive SRE practices to improve MTTR and resilience.
- Mentor engineers, contribute to internal tooling, and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
Qualification
- 5+ years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (or GCP) and cloud networking concepts.
- Proficiency in IaC using Terraform (and familiarity with CloudFormation).
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, and automation; experience with monitoring and incident management.
- Proficient scripting in Bash and Python; comfortable with Linux-based systems and security best practices.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
