Job description
Join NebulaCloud Technologies as a Senior DevOps Engineer to architect and automate scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Kubernetes. You will own CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring, and security practices in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
We are seeking a hands-on leader who can elevate our platform reliability, optimize costs, and enable development teams to ship software faster. You will collaborate with SRE, platform, and software engineering to design robust, scalable solutions.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS with IaC (Terraform) and configuration management.
- Orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes; implement security and compliance best practices.
- Automate provisioning, monitoring, logging, and alerting with modern stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Establish incident response playbooks, runbooks, and post-incident reviews.
- Champion GitOps, code quality, and security automation across the pipeline.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive DevOps maturity across the organization.
Qualification
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering with hands-on cloud infrastructure experience.
- Proven expertise with AWS (or Azure/GCP) and cloud security best practices.
- Strong Kubernetes experience and container orchestration; experience with Helm.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
- Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) and experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Monitoring and incident response experience using Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/ELK Stack, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration in English; German is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
