Job description

Join AuroraCloud Technologies as a Senior DevOps Engineer. You will own the end-to-end CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and platform reliability for scalable applications used by thousands of users. You will collaborate with software engineers, security, and SREs to design and implement resilient systems.

We’re seeking a high-impact professional who can turn complex requirements into robust, automated, and measurable outcomes. This role blends software engineering mindshare with operations discipline to accelerate delivery while maintaining security and reliability.

Responsibility

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Architect and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, with GCP/Azure as optional) using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and policy-as-code for governance.
  • Containerize applications and orchestrate with Kubernetes; maintain Helm charts and observability for cluster health and reliability.
  • Build comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK) and establish incident response playbooks with on-call readiness.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to optimize deployment strategies, performance, and cost while ensuring security and compliance.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and release processes; drive platform reliability, SRE practices, and performance engineering.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; 5+ years in DevOps or SRE roles.
  • Strong experience with AWS (IAM, VPC, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS) and familiarity with GCP/Azure.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience; familiarity with Helm, operators, and service meshes.
  • Proficient in IaC tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
  • Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) and strong automation mindset.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD practices, version control, code review, and release management.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, IAM, network policies, and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR as applicable).
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.
