Join ApexNova Technologies as a Senior DevOps Engineer and own the evolution of our cloud platform. You will design, build and operate scalable infrastructure and automated delivery pipelines that support fast, reliable software releases.
We are seeking hands-on engineers who thrive in a fast paced environment and are passionate about reliability, performance and security. You will collaborate with software, security and SRE teams to implement robust IaC, container orchestration and monitoring.
What you will do and own include infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, observability and incident response across multi region environments.
Tech stack includes AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, Prometheus, Grafana and CloudFormation. Prioritize security and cost optimization while mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibility
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation across multiple accounts and regions.
- Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker, including cluster provisioning, upgrades and security hardening.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki and centralized dashboards.
- Develop reliable deployment strategies (blue/green, canary) and automate rollback procedures.
- Collaborate with software engineers to improve reliability, performance and security of platforms and services.
- Optimize cloud spend and enforce security best practices and cost governance.
Qualification
- Bachelor or higher in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in DevOps or SRE roles with hands-on production systems experience.
- Strong experience with AWS and cloud environment automation, networking, IAM, and security.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Scripting skills in Python or Bash and familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
- Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills; ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent are a plus.
