Responsibility
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) for multiple product teams.
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS (or other major clouds) with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Automate configuration management and deployments using Ansible, Puppet, or similar tools.
- Monitor system health, alerting, and incident management; drive post-incident reviews and remediation.
- Optimize costs and performance; implement auto-scaling and robust observability.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve security, compliance, and release quality.
- Mentor junior engineers and define DevOps standards, best practices, and runbooks.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning and backup strategies.
Qualification
- 5+ years of DevOps or SRE experience in a cloud-first environment.
- Strong proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP; experience with multi-cloud is a plus.
- Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proven IaC skills with Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) and automation mindset.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and release automation.
- Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and incident response; familiarity with SRE principles.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and ability to mentor teammates.
