What you'll do:
We are seeking someone who can lead end-to-end DevOps efforts, partner with software engineering, and drive best-practices across the organization.
Responsibility
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation for cloud-native applications.
- Design and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures (AWS preferred).
- Collaborate with software engineering to improve product reliability, performance, and monitoring.
- Lead incident response and on-call rotations; perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Implement observability via metrics, logs, and tracing; select and configure monitoring tools.
- Mentor junior engineers; promote DevOps culture and automation standards.
- Drive cost optimization, security compliance, and governance across cloud environments.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years in DevOps/SRE roles with strong Linux proficiency.
- Proven cloud experience (AWS preferred) and infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar).
- Hands-on with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and container tooling (Docker).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to mentor teammates.
