CloudForge Technologies is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our fast-growing team in Austin. You will design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud infrastructure, and partner with software engineers to drive reliability and velocity.

Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- Automate provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and related tools.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, deploy workloads, and implement robust monitoring and alerting with Prometheus and Grafana.
- Lead incident response, post-mortem analysis, and preventive measures to improve reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to enforce security, compliance, and quality practices.
- Optimize cloud cost, performance, and scalability with automated governance and autoscaling.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.
- Develop standardized logging, tracing, and observability practices across stacks.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Strong expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet).
- Experience building secure, automated CI/CD pipelines with testing, security gates, and release governance.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
