Join NovaForge Cloud, a leading innovator in cloud operations, as a Senior DevOps Engineer in Berlin. You will architect and operate scalable, secure infrastructure across multiple clouds, partnering with cross functional teams to deliver reliable platforms.
What you will do:
- Lead design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery and improve quality.
- Build and operate scalable infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform and Pulumi.
- Manage container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Collaborate with development teams to drive automation, security, and compliance practices.
- Own incident response, post mortems, and disaster recovery planning.
- Optimize cloud spend and cost governance across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture across the organization.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Architect and manage scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP with IaC tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes; ensure resilience and observability.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response to improve reliability and MTTR.
- Collaborate with software engineers to streamline development workflows and accelerate delivery.
- Enforce security best practices, compliance standards, and automated remediation.
- Automate provisioning and configuration management, enabling repeatable environments.
- Own disaster recovery, backups, and performance optimization initiatives.
Qualification
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience in fast growing tech organizations.
- Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP also acceptable).
- Proficient with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC/tools; experience with Pulumi is a plus.
- Extensive containerization and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid experience with CI/CD tooling, source control, and automation scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Solid monitoring, logging, and tracing skills using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or similar stacks.
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills; German language skills are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
