Join AstraNova Technologies as a Senior DevOps Engineer in Austin, TX. You will design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and drive automation across engineering teams. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic architectural work to accelerate secure software delivery.

Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (primary), with support for Azure/GCP as needed; implement IaC using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes with Ansible, Terraform modules, and configuration management tools.
- Ensure observability and reliability with monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana), logging (ELK/EFK), and tracing (OpenTelemetry).
- Implement security best practices in pipelines, secrets management (Vault, AWS KMS), and hardened container runtimes.
- Collaborate with software engineers and security to improve release processes, runbooks, and incident response plans.
- Lead on-call rotations, conduct post-incident reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of high performance and collaboration.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering experience in fast-paced environments.
- Proven expertise with AWS and at least one other cloud provider; strong IaC experience using Terraform.
- Strong containerization and orchestration experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and automation scripting (Bash, Python).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident response; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in an Agile environment and mentor others.
