Responsibility
- Design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines across cloud environments (AWS/GCP, GitLab CI/Jenkins).
- Build and maintain containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring reliability and security.
- Implement infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) to provision and manage cloud resources.
- Establish monitoring, tracing, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK stacks; drive incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Optimize cloud costs, performance, and reliability through auto-scaling and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate bottlenecks and accelerate delivery pipelines.
- Define and promote SRE practices, runbooks, and disaster recovery plans.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers to raise the team's DevOps maturity.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, with strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, and optionally CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible).
- Extensive CI/CD experience (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions) and strong scripting skills (bash, Python, or Go).
- Strong observability and incident management skills (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
- Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
