Job description
Join The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) in Singapore as a Senior Dietitian and play a pivotal role in delivering expert nutrition care for individuals living with kidney disease. In this clinical role, you will assess, plan, implement, and monitor nutrition therapy across all stages of chronic kidney disease (CKD), including pre-dialysis, dialysis, and post-transplant scenarios. You will collaborate with nephrologists, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and other allied health professionals to design evidence-based, patient-centered care plans that improve health outcomes, enhance quality of life, and support adherence to renal dietary guidelines. NKF is dedicated to advancing kidney health through research, education, and compassionate patient support. If you are passionate about renal nutrition and thrive in a multidisciplinary setting, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients and families.
As a Senior Dietitian at NKF, you will lead Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for CKD patients, tailor diet plans to individual needs, and support patients and caregivers with practical strategies for managing potassium, phosphorus, sodium, and protein restrictions. You will educate patients on fluid management, medication-nutrition interactions, and lifestyle factors that influence kidney health. This role offers opportunities to contribute to NKF nutrition education programs, develop resources for clinicians and the community, and participate in quality improvement initiatives that elevate the standard of renal care in Singapore.
NKF values clinical excellence, ongoing professional development, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach. In this role you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care, accurate documentation in electronic medical records, and measurable improvements in patient outcomes. If you are motivated to advance kidney health nationwide and to mentor junior staff, NKF provides a supportive environment with clear pathways for career growth and leadership opportunities in renal nutrition.
