Responsibility
- Prepare and review full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities for management review and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements across all finance processes.
- Work closely with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to facilitate audit and tax submissions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, monthly reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis, projects, and system implementations as required by management.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in a similar finance or accounting role, preferably within an MNC environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling full set of accounts and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
