Job description

AxisBridge Financial is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Financial Manager to join our NYC team. You will lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to inform executive decision-making and drive sustainable growth. In this role, you will partner with senior leadership to translate business strategy into actionable financial plans, deliver accurate management reporting, and drive continuous process improvements.

Responsibility

  • Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Own the monthly close, prepare management reports, and deliver actionable insights + KPIs.
  • Develop robust financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives, capital allocations, and ROI scenarios.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align plans with organizational objectives and drive financial discipline.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities to optimize liquidity.
  • Oversee internal controls, compliance with GAAP, and coordination with external auditors.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team; implement process improvements and automation where appropriate.
  • Support the CFO on M&A, fundraising, and investor relations as needed.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CMA/CFA/CPA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in financial management with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel; experience with BI tools is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management abilities at executive level.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements and building high-performing teams.
