NovaCap Financial is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to lead global financial planning and decision support across our expanding organization. This role blends strategic finance, accounting rigor, and operational partnership to empower executives with actionable insights.
You will own planning processes, drive governance, and shape scalable financial systems that enable sustainable growth in a dynamic financial services environment. This is a high-visibility role with substantial impact on strategy and performance.
Responsibility
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and multi-year planning for global operations; provide variance analysis and business insights.
- Develop and enforce robust financial policies, internal controls, and compliance with GAAP and SOX.
- Oversee FP&A functions, manage a high-performing team, and partner with business leaders to drive revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity; optimize capital structure and treasury processes.
- Prepare board-ready financial reports and present financial results to the executive team and stakeholders.
- Lead financial modeling and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives and M&A assessments (if applicable).
- Collaborate with ERP, accounting, and IT teams to improve data quality, reporting, and analytics (SAP/Oracle, BI tools).
- Ensure accurate statutory reporting and manage external audits and regulatory requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA/CMA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or financial management; 3+ years in people leadership.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning abilities.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI); advanced Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal controls.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
- Experience supporting global operations and working in fast-paced, matrix organizations.
- Eligible to work in the United States; hybrid NYC-based role compatible with in-office days.
