BlueHarbor Fisheries, a leader in sustainable seafood and marine research, is seeking a Senior Fisheries Sustainability Analyst to join our Anchorage team. The ideal candidate will combine analytical rigor with practical field experience to support stock assessments, harvest planning, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibility
- Conduct quantitative stock assessments and data analysis to inform harvest strategies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and GIS-based analyses for fisheries management with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with scientists, policymakers, and industry partners to translate science into actionable policies.
- Prepare technical reports, grant proposals, and regulatory submissions.
- Lead field data collection and monitoring programs; ensure data quality and integrity.
- Support risk assessment, climate-resilience planning, and sustainability certification programs.
- Present findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualification
- Master's degree in Fisheries Science, Marine Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in fisheries management, stock assessment, and data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in R, Python, SQL; experience with GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS).
- Experience with stock assessment models (AGES, Stock Synthesis) or similar.
- Excellent written and oral communication; experience with stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (MSY, quotas, TACs) and compliance.
