As a Senior Fitness Coach, you will lead transformative fitness experiences, design evidence-based programs, mentor junior coaches, and collaborate with wellness teams to deliver holistic results.
What you’ll do:
- Lead one-on-one and small-group training sessions with exceptional coaching standards and safety.
- Assess client fitness levels, set measurable goals, and track progress using data-driven methods.
- Design periodized training plans across strength, endurance, mobility, and rehabilitation areas.
- Inspire sustained client adherence through motivational coaching and vivid program storytelling.
- Mentor and train assistant coaches, ensuring consistency in technique and client care.
- Coordinate with nutritionists and physiotherapists to deliver integrated wellness plans.
- Maintain equipment, studio organization, and implement safety protocols.
- Contribute to business growth through client retention initiatives and community events.
Responsibility
- Lead and customize training sessions for diverse client profiles while maintaining safety and form standards.
- Assess baseline fitness, set SMART goals, and monitor progress with regular check-ins.
- Develop comprehensive, periodized programs integrating strength, conditioning, mobility, and recovery.
- Provide exceptional customer service, building long-term client relationships and referrals.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive studio culture and mentor junior coaches.
- Collaborate with nutrition and medical professionals to optimize outcomes.
- Ensure equipment upkeep, facility cleanliness, and safety compliance.
- Contribute to marketing efforts, class scheduling, and community events to grow the studio.
Qualification
- Certifications: NSCA-CSCS or ACSM-EP, NASM, ACE, or equivalent; CPT licensure preferred.
- Minimum 4-6 years of professional coaching experience in fitness or performance training.
- Proven ability to design evidence-based training programs for diverse populations.
- Strong assessment, programming, and progress-tracking skills; data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication, motivational coaching, and client relationship management.
- CPR/AED certification and a commitment to safety and professional standards.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Studio management or leadership experience is a plus.
