TechForge Collective is expanding our network of top-tier freelance talent. We are seeking a Senior Freelance Front-End Developer to craft high-impact, accessible, and fast-loading user interfaces for diverse client projects. This remote-friendly contract role offers flexible hours, ongoing work, and competitive compensation.
As a key member of cross-functional squads, you will translate complex designs into robust code, implement responsive layouts, optimize performance, and contribute to a shared component library used by multiple teams worldwide.
Responsibility
- Build high-quality, reusable UI components with React (or similar modern frameworks) and TypeScript.
- Translate UX/UI designs into responsive, accessible interfaces across devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to deliver features on time.
- Write clean, well-documented code and unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews.
- Optimize performance, accessibility, and SEO considerations where applicable.
- Contribute to a shared design system and component library.
- Mentor junior freelancers when applicable and manage stakeholder expectations.
Qualification
- 5+ years of frontend development experience with a proven portfolio.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript; strong React or Vue skills.
- Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG 2.x), and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience building design systems and reusable components.
- Familiarity with REST/GraphQL, Git, CI/CD, and modern dev tooling.
- Excellent communication, time management, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Remote freelance or contract experience preferred; able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
