Responsibility
- Own the end-to-end frontend architecture for core product features using React and TypeScript.
- Build modular, reusable UI components with a focus on performance and accessibility.
- Collaborate with product and design to translate complex requirements into clean interfaces.
- Implement robust tests and ensure high quality through CI/CD.
- Champion accessibility, performance optimization, and responsive design.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to hiring and onboarding.
- Work with backend teams to define API contracts and optimize data fetching.
- Analyze user metrics to continuously improve UX and conversion.
Qualification
- 5+ years of frontend development experience, with a track record in shipping web applications.
- Expertise with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript tooling.
- Strong CSS/HTML skills and a solid understanding of responsive design and accessibility.
- Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs and state management patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, testing strategies, and modern frontend performance optimizations.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
