Responsibility
- Lead original historical research projects using primary and archival sources.
- Develop interpretive content for exhibitions, programs, and digital platforms.
- Collaborate with curatorial teams, educators, and external scholars to shape narrative themes.
- Manage historical data in archives and databases; supervise metadata and provenance practices.
- Prepare scholarly publications, grant proposals, and conference presentations.
- Assist with exhibition planning, artifact conservation coordination, and loan processes.
- Engage with community partners and the public to widen access and impact.
- Mentor graduate students, interns, and junior researchers.
Qualification
- Master's degree in History, Museum Studies, or a closely related field; PhD preferred.
- 3+ years of historical research, curation, or museum-related experience.
- Strong command of archival research methods and primary source analysis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience with grant writing is a plus.
- Proficiency with digital humanities tools, database management, and exhibit development.
- Familiarity with ethical standards in museums and provenance research.
- Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
- Fluency in a foreign language relevant to the focus area is advantageous.
