Responsibility
- Lead planning, scoping, and execution of internal audit engagements across financial, operational, and regulatory areas.
- Assess control design and operating effectiveness; document findings with clear, actionable recommendations.
- Perform risk assessments to prioritize audit activities and allocate resources effectively.
- Collaborate with process owners and management to implement corrective actions and track remediation.
- Leverage data analytics to identify anomalies, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare high-quality audit reports and present findings to senior leadership and audit committees.
- Support SOX compliance and other regulatory requirements where applicable.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional designation (CIA, CISA, ACCA) preferred or in progress.
- 5+ years of internal or external audit experience, preferably with multinational clients.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS, COSO, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience with data analytics and auditing software; proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to convey complex issues clearly.
- Proven project management skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Eligibility to work in Singapore (work visa sponsorship available for highly qualified candidates).
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
