Aurora Capital Partners, a leading growth-focused investment firm, is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join our New York team. The ideal candidate will support deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring across private equity and growth equity opportunities. You will work closely with senior partners to evaluate business models, build robust financial models, and communicate compelling investment theses to an internal committee.

Responsibility
- Develop and maintain complex financial models including DCF, LBO, and scenario analyses to value potential investments.
- Conduct market and industry research to identify investment opportunities and competitive dynamics.
- Perform due diligence financial analysis, including quality of earnings, working capital, and debt structure.
- Assist in preparing investment memos and present findings to the investment committee.
- Monitor portfolio companies, track KPIs, and assess value creation initiatives post-acquisition.
- Coordinate with deal teams, legal, tax, and external advisors to advance deals through closing.
- Support fundraising activities by contributing market insights and performance metrics.
- Provide ad hoc analytics to inform risk management and capital allocation decisions.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA/CFA Level II+ preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, comps).
- Proficient in Excel; experience with SQL or Python is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong due diligence capabilities and keen commercial instincts.
- Self-motivated team player with a client-first mindset.
