This role offers exposure to deal sourcing, market research, financial modeling, and portfolio optimization within a collaborative, metrics-driven environment.
Responsibility
- Perform in-depth financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis for potential investments across technology, software, and services sectors.
- Construct and maintain detailed financial models, including leverage scenarios, NPV/IRR, and sensitivity analyses.
- Lead due diligence efforts by analyzing market dynamics, competitive positioning, customer metrics, and operational data.
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for the investment committee with clear, data-driven recommendations.
- Monitor portfolio companies' performance and assist in value creation planning, dashboards, and quarterly reviews.
- Collaborate with deal sourcing and research teams to identify compelling opportunities and industry trends.
- Manage and synthesize external data (research, brokers, advisors) to inform decision-making and risk management.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, private equity, investment banking, or a comparable field.
- Advanced financial modeling skills (Excel; experience with LBO/DCF), strong quantitative intuition.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present complex topics clearly to stakeholders.
- Proficient in data analysis, research, and market sizing; familiarity with software (Bloomberg, FactSet) a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with high integrity and discretion; ability to work across multiple projects and teams.
