Atlas Capital Partners is seeking a results-driven Senior Investment Analyst to join our NYC office. You will contribute to all stages of the investment lifecycle, from deal sourcing to portfolio monitoring. This role offers exposure to public equities, private markets, and structured finance opportunities with a focus on value creation and risk management.
As a key member of our investment team, you will work closely with portfolio managers, research analysts, and external partners to generate alpha while maintaining rigorous risk controls.
Responsibility
- Lead financial modeling and valuation analyses for potential investments, including DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and comps.
- Conduct thorough financial, industry, and competitive analyses to support investment decisions and strategic recommendations.
- Build and maintain investment theses, memos, and presenting materials for investment committee reviews.
- Perform due diligence with management teams, auditors, and external advisors; manage data room and information requests.
- Monitor post-investment performance, track KPIs, and provide ongoing risk assessment and scenario planning.
- Develop dashboards and presentations for senior leadership and external investors to communicate portfolio performance.
- Identify and source high-potential opportunities through market research, networking, and partnerships.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure timely execution and compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA designation or progress toward CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in investment analysis, equity research, or asset management.
- Strong financial modeling skills (DCF, LBO, sensitivity analysis) and advanced Excel proficiency; Python/SQL a plus.
- Solid understanding of capital markets, valuation methodologies, and portfolio management concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear investment memos.
- Due diligence experience and demonstrated ability to coordinate with external advisors, auditors, and management teams.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment, meticulous attention to detail, and strong project management capabilities.
