HorizonPeak Capital, a premier investment firm specializing in private markets and growth equity, is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join our New York City team.
In this role, you will partner with portfolio managers to source, evaluate, and monitor investments across multiple sectors. You will build rigorous financial models, conduct due diligence, and contribute to strategic decisions that drive value creation for our clients.

Responsibility
- Lead fundamental and value-centric analyses across private markets, including due diligence and valuation work.
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models (DCF, LBO, comps) and create portfolio dashboards and scenario analyses.
- Manage end-to-end due diligence processes: market sizing, competitive landscape, management diligence, and risk assessment.
- Prepare investment memos and present findings to the investment committee and senior leadership.
- Monitor portfolio companies post-investment, track KPIs, and support value-creation initiatives.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, risk, and operations to structure investments and mitigate risk.
- Contribute to fundraising efforts with data-driven insights and compelling investor communications.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in investment analysis, private equity, venture capital, or asset management.
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, multiples) with strong Excel proficiency.
- Strong data skills: SQL or equivalent; experience with Power BI or Tableau a plus.
- Proven due diligence, research, and investment memo-writing capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence decisions at all levels.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
