At ApexTech Partners, we partner with Fortune 500 and mid-market clients to design and implement strategic IT solutions that accelerate growth and reduce risk. We are seeking a results-driven Senior IT Consultant to lead complex engagements in cloud, data, security, and enterprise architecture.
In this role, you will collaborate with client leadership, guide cross-functional teams, and translate business needs into actionable technology roadmaps. You will contribute to sales pursuits, deliver high-impact client outcomes, and coach junior consultants.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end IT consulting engagements across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), data analytics, ERP, and cybersecurity.
- Develop and present strategic IT roadmaps aligned with client goals and measurable business outcomes.
- Architect scalable solutions, conduct assessments, perform due diligence, and produce detailed technical design documents.
- Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers; coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across client sites and virtual environments.
- Facilitate client workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and stakeholder alignment to drive consensus and buy-in.
- Provide thought leadership on IT strategy, modernization, and risk management; contribute to proposals and business development efforts.
- Mentor and coach junior consultants; foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualification
- 5+ years of IT consulting, solution architecture, or IT strategy experience within professional services or large-scale implementations.
- Deep expertise in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) with hands-on implementation and migration experience.
- Strong background in enterprise IT architecture, data governance, security, and risk management.
- Proven track record delivering multi-million-dollar engagements on time and within budget.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at C-suite levels.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect, CISSP, CISM, TOGAF) or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field (MBA a plus).
